HT40: Shoulder Check

MAKING KINDNESS A CONTACT SPORT

While 1 in 4 young adults experience a mental health crisis each year, over ⅔ of them will accept support from a peer.

The HT40 Foundation exists to champion the cause of checking in on each other. To show how being there for someone is as simple as a hand on a shoulder, we launched an initiative in partnership with HT40 Foundation: Shoulder Check.

Our mission? To make kindness a contact sport. Featuring NHL’s biggest stars like Trevor Zegras, Chris Kreider, Kevin Shattenkirk, and rising youth stars, we designed a charity game that invited all to “Reach out. Check in. Make contact,” every day.

From the iconic blue shoulder merch, to signed custom jerseys to AR filters for social reach, the entire showcase was livestreamed to spread our important message across the country

Announcement Film:

Two years later we made a film
In the first-ever brand film for Shoulder Check, the toughest athletes on earth showcase their commitment to kindness by singing the iconic Bill Withers song “Lean On Me.” Nearly three years in the making, this was incredibly special to put together and I hope you love watching it as much as we loved making it.
